" Films by James A. VanBrocklin"
See the late age of steam on the New York Central & Pennsylvania RR, early to mid 1950's.
These movies have been digitized from Jim's 8MM original movie film and are now a part of the Chapter's archives.
Some of the locations include scenes of Buffalo Central Terminal, Western New York and
nearby in Pennsylvania at such locations as Renovo and the Elmira branch.
Wherever steam held out, Jim was trackside with his camera capturing the final chapter of the Steam Age.
The now late James A. VanBrocklin was a prolific photographer for many decades.
His work is well known among rail historians, and our Chapter was indeed fortunate that he was one of our most
dedicated and generous members for many decades.
It is in his honor that the Chapter has digitized these movie films to preserve them for future generations.
Order with full remittance must be received no later than March 17, 2018!
