Program for November -

CLASSIC RAILROAD MOVIES

For our November meeting, we will view some vintage 16mm color film produced by the Association of American Railroads.

"
On the Track" is an overview of railroad services in the early 1950’s.

With Saturday November 11 being Veterans' Day, our second film, "Lifeline of a Nation",

will honor the contribution of railroads to the World War II effort.

If time permits, we will show a third movie, "Thundering Rails".

All films are on loan to us from the collection of Mr. Peter Gores and we thank him for letting us show these classics.

Join us for the evening, guests are always welcome!

                                                                                                                                                On Their Way

Shades are drawn down. Lights dim low. The landscape is blotted out….there’s just the hum of the speeding

train. These boys know what it means- the troop train is approaching the troop ships.

                                                                                                                                                Pennsylvania RR, June 1944.
